Managing Director and Backpocket HR founder Georgia Curtis has over 15 years of HR leadership and consulting experience in Canada and globally. Currently, Backpocket HR clients are located in Canada, USA, Europe and China. Focused on execution and solution delivery in high change environments, she has led the people side of start-ups, acquisitions, divestitures, as well as organizational restructures and consolidations. Georgia and the Backpocket HR team are building HR from the ground up at some of Canada's fastest growing companies.
Georgia has an Honours BA, an MEd in Workplace Learning and Change (University of Toronto), and is a graduate of the Queen's University Executive Human Resources Program. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, WorldatWork and the GTA Rewards Association.
In 2011, Georgia realized a long-time dream and earned her Sommelier diploma….today she wants to grow your business….someday she will grow grapes.
